Last week dorybeach posted this photo and we had to do something about it

constantly on the road, hitting swell after swell and exploring spot after spot

some things had been passed up for easier, closer, more convenient options

where the sunburn was the only thing worse than the leg burn from these runners

the hills seperating south/north

go there, just dont live there

when we got home

we  knew that we had made a good decision

It was flatter and colder @ home,

and down at the beach, everyone was bitching about how the "swell just never showed"

with tired legs and sunburned faces and drooping eyes struggling to stay open a bit longer

we realized

"that you cannot force a dream to come true, but you can certainly help it along"

Having a bit of anxiety about the place

just the cliffs, the being alone, the long hike, the power of the wave

we decided the only way to get over that was to head directly into the lions den.

Sitting watching it for 20 minutes,

but overcoming some anxieties and being excited instead of nervous is a reality

hitting well known spots that are called to fire as well as searching for things never known

but the road shall always be endless

Weekend Warrior Status

weekends are a matter of opinion here @ Dorybeach

+there are the days off, and the fun loving people free of work,and the parties!

- but the booze don't matter, the crowds suck,and damnit can't all these idiots just work 7 days a week(arn't we in debt?)

it's just too much

but hey

its the weekend

the sun is bright and the waves are good

turn up the good tunes, grab your favorite board, and remember

its only when the suns out that the buns are out

and that is NOT a matter of opinion
